Attention power cruiser-loving speed freaks: Victory took the lightest motorcycle in their lineup, the 645 pound Vegas, and pumped up its 109 cubic inch (1,731cc) V-twin with Stage 2 cams for a total of 97 horsepower and 113 ft-lbs of torque. Not bad for an air-cooled v-twin. The result is their quickest bike ever, the Vegas Limited Edition. Priced at $15,999, the only 100 of the Vegas Limited Edition (LE) models will be available for order through February, 2010, for March delivery. Orders can be placed on Victory's website. Though $500 more costly than the '10 Harley-Davidson VRSC V-Rod (with two-tone paint), the Victory edges out the water-cooled Hog by 1 lb-ft of torque. If the "other" American motorcycle manufacturer is looking to pick a fight with Harley, they've chosen an interesting niche in which to do so...now let's see if they can come up with a retort to H-D's lower-priced Dark Customs offerings like the $7,999 Iron 883 or the $10,499 Forty-Eight.
Here's a 2010 Victory Vegas Limited Edition Photo Gallery, and a rundown of the 2010 Victory Lineup.
